Not a morning person? It could just be the years of practice you’ve had doing your same routine over and over.  Staying up late and snoozing through your alarm, to then rush through the rest of your morning feeling frantic or stressed. Sound familiar?

Before starting FORM, my job started at 10am, and for me that meant a sleep-in until about 8am, that was my routine. Since opening FORM and starting sessions at 5:30am, I wake up at 4am and begin my morning ritual.
Alarm goes off, I wake up and have a gentle stretch, reaching my arms above my head stretching from fingers to toes. I get out of bed and jump in the shower. I get dressed and head to the kitchen. Then I make the following drink: juice of ½ a lemon, a tsp of Apple Cider Vinegar, a sprinkle of Turmeric powder, and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt in glass topped up with room temperature water.
Apple Cider Vinegar contains lots of vitamins, minerals and enzymes that aid in digestion. ACV also balances pH levels in the body, gives you energy and cleanses your system. There’s so many other benefits to ACV the list goes on. Lemon juice contains vitamin C, potassium, magnesium and copper. It also helps with digestion and acts in a similar way to ACV. Among other health benefits Turmeric is an antioxidant and has an anti inflammatory effect on the body. It’s not the most pleasant tasting drink, however it is good for you
Supplementing with a Fish oil capsule as it contains omega 3 fatty acids which is an essential nutrient for the body, it is good for the heart and skin as well as an anti inflammatory. Finally for general health and immune support Vitamin C. It also helps grow, repair and develop all the body tissues and helps with the absorption of iron.
If you don’t have a morning ritual you’re happy with, change it. Maybe give the above a go and see how it works out for you.Give it a week or so and notice your energy levels and how you feel.
